AIDS Help is one of the best known non-profit charitable organizations in the Florida Keys. There are many reasons for this distinction including the fact that every dollars raised within Key West and Monroe County is used to match other funds from grants and foundations, every dollar of which is spent in Monroe County for people living with HIV/AIDS. No administrative dollars or fees are sent out of county, and nearly every penny of client service dollars is spent with health providers here in the Florida Keys.

AIDS Help was incorporated on February 20, 1986 by a group of concerned citizens with the primary mission of helping people living with AIDS with any issue they had related to the disease. All of the incorporators and board of directors were volunteers who lived in Key West.

AHI Fundraising Committee

AIDS Help Fundraising Committee is made up of dedicated, creative, enthusiastic, and hard-working volunteers. This committee, pictured above, has constantly exceeded fundraising goals and expectations.

Each member is solidly committed to the Mission of AIDS Help and devoted to the ideal that those persons with HIV/AIDS living within the Florida Keys will get the help they need to live with respect and dignity.
